The next generation Wristwatch phone that don’t cost the earth!
Some years back, the great detective Dick Tracy went about his work wearing a wristwatch phone and he did showed what some imagination can do the man that matters, even though it was just a newspaper cartoon serial. That was in the sixties, mind you. It is now 2009 and although LG and Samsung had already made available wristwatch phones models, the price was in the stratosphere! Now comes the great night named W Phonewatch, made by newcomer, Kempler & Strauss. Their tag line seems to be wearable and absolutely affordable. At $199 a piece, it’s going at a third of the price of the LG’s and you can bet that you will need to queue up just to buy one for yourself. It has a normal phone function, and comes with a Bluetooth headset, camera, video, touch screen interface as well as an MP3 player. You can wear it on your wrist, or take out the main component and add an ear clip and wrap it around your ears. And to make it desirable, it is a quadband devise weighing only 48gms. Take a look at this video…..
The new G-string, no patents needed!
It must be eons ago that they invented the G-string, and it’s showing its ages. Luck is with us though as a new company by the name of C-string Direct is show piecing its latest creation called C-string. It is nothing short of minimalist to say the least. But still, the creators say that it is enough to cover up that important patch, and using no strings at all to prevent it from dropping off! And no patents required as well. What say you? Take a close look, but don't strain your eyes!

You can now grow your teeth again

If you have lost teeth, and you want to look good, then your best bet is to go to the dentist and ask for an implant, and pay a big fee for it. Teeth implants have been popular for a few years now but even though it is requested by a lot of people, the cost of having the implants, usually made of a titanium screw fitted into the tooth cavity, is still prohibitive, ranging to several thousands of dollars. However, the operation is not trouble free as some times, complications do set in.
In a revolutionary experiment, Dr. Jeremy Mao, a professor at Columbia University Medical Center had succeeded in implanting seed teeth in the tooth cavity and allowing it to grow. He used a tooth shaped scaffold placed into the cavity and baths it with a natural growth factor. Stem cells from the patient are tricked into growing unto the seed and the process took nine weeks. Not only the teeth were grown, but also there was a regeneration of periodontal ligaments and also the formation of alveolar bone. Previous attempts of growing had to begin with harvested stem cells and grown externally. There might be a revolution in dentistry soon.
