Often enough, we find ourselves scratching our head as to how to solve a technical problem, or we might be just searching our brain for an answer to a persistant problem. The more we think about them, the more confuse we become, and the more we chase after them, they seems to run away from us. Yes, you must be familiar with the problem. Just as we were about to give up, then some smart alec said something unrelated, but sparks our mind to think of a solution. Eureka!! Yes, it always happen that way.

Could we be the one to spark that idea for you? Why not? Give us a thinker and we might just have the answer for you! Click here to put a question to us

Dog Car

All right, move over buddy, it is going to be the reign of the dogs from now onwards. A recent report from Honda Motors reviewed that they are designing their up coming car by the name of Element to be ‘dog friendly’ just so that they can cater to the large number of dog owners in North America (supposedly numbered 80 million). So far, cars have been designed with human safety in mind, but since there are so many people who love cruising together with their pets, it seems to be a wise move(and a good market branding exercise as well) to think about the safety of dogs as well, especially those four legged ones that are easily excited in the cabin.

Honda says that the Element, which is basically a redesigned CR-V, will include a cushioned pet bed, with an elevated platform in the luggage compartment. There will also be safety restraint systems to harness the pet so that they don’t have to jump about inside the vehicle causing distraction to the driver. And to allow the dogs to exit out of the car, retractable ramps are mounted at the back doorway so that they don’t have to jump out if they have injured legs. In order to announce to everybody that this is a dog friendly car, a badge is placed at the back! Well, what next then?

Why they never did look upwards?

Ever felt that they did squeezed you into capricious spaces when you did that flight over the Atlantic? Or you have really got use to it already? Fret not because someone just took a second good look upwards and came up with some ingenious use of space; that is aircraft seating spaces just so that you can get that night’s sleep when you go long flight. With things like double-bunks and mezzanine level spacing, the concept might just change the way seats are arranged on aircraft, with more possibilities on the way. The firm that is proposing the idea is called Jacob Innovation and their concept is called Flex-Seat. It not only create useful spaces that had been there all along, but it will also ease time serving meals and stowing away luggages. The system is highly configurable as well, and will for the first time offer closed-up privacy with opaque cabins. It is touted to be able to increase passenger load by 50%. It was all the time there but nobody thought of using those spaces before!
