Are you confused by the criteria for obtaining Msc Status?
You don't have to be confused by the criteria set by the Multimedia Development Corporation for Msc Status. Boiled down simply, ask yourself whether you have the "soft code" for that business plan that you want to apply.
Put simply, do you possess the "intellectual Property" to your program. Now intellectual property could mean patent or copyright. For patents, it would mean that no others have it except you(world wide !) and for copy-rights, it would mean you have the only copy in the world, different from all others!
However, ownership of the soft code does not apply to sectors like Share Services Outsourcing (SSO) because it is an activity that requires little intellectual property content. If you are applying it under the Infotech and Creative Multimedia sector then it is a pre-requisite that you have some sort of intellectual property. You also do not need intellectual property if you are applying under the Higher School Instition or Incubator sector. But a large number of applications are from either the Infotech or Creative Multimedia model.
